Iraq’s central bank reports over $283 million in foreign currency sales

BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Tuesday its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions, amounting more than $283 million at the official exchange rate set at 1,310 IQD per USD.

According to the bank’s data, total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $ 8,900,000 while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $ 274,169,068. The overall sales totaled $ 283,069,068
