Iraq’s central bank reports over $270 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Thursday its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions, amounting more than $270 million at the official exchange rate set at 1,310 IQD per USD.
According to the bank’s data, total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $23,310,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $247,077,731. The overall sales totaled $270,387,731.
