Iraq’s central bank reports over $274 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Wednesday its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions, amounting more than $274 million at the official exchange rate set at 1,310 IQD per USD.
According to the bank’s data, total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $14,775,300, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $260,135,797. The overall sales totaled $274,911,097.
