Iraq’s central bank reports over $276 million in foreign currency sales

BAGHDAD– The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Monday its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions, totaling more than $276 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 Iraqi dinars per U.S. dollar.

The bank’s data revealed that the total internal cash withdrawals amounted to $25,100,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $251,787,116. The total sales for the day summed up to $276,887,116.
