Iraq’s central bank reports over $277 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD– The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Thursday its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions, totaling over $277 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 IQD per USD.
According to the bank’s data, the total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $25,200,000. Meanwhile, the total amount transferred abroad, including wire transfers and letters of credit, reached $252,154,736. The overall sales for the day were $277,354,736.
