Central bank of Iraq announces foreign currency sales exceeding $245 million

BAGHDAD – On Sunday, the Central Bank of Iraq disclosed its foreign currency sales, reaching over $245 million in today’s transactions, based on the official exchange rate of 1,310.

According to the bank’s data, “The total cash withdrawals amounted to $7,818,920, while the total amount of transfers abroad, which includes remittances and credits, amounted to $237,727,027. Consequently, the total sales amounted to $245,545,947.”
