Iraqi central bank records over $224 million in foreign currency sales

BAGHDAD — The Iraqi Central Bank announced on Wednesday that its foreign currency sales in today’s transactions reached more than $224 million, according to the official rate of 1,310 USD.

The bank’s data revealed that the total cash withdrawals amounted to $11,110,000, while the total amount of overseas transfers – including remittances and credits – reached $213,680,275. This brings the total sales for the day to $224,790,275.
