Najaf international book fair abuzz with Valentine’s Day intrigue

NAJAF – The Najaf International Book Fair witnessed a flurry of activity on Tuesday as book lovers searched for titles about love as unique Valentine’s Day gifts for Wednesday, February 14. Visitors expressed their intention to break away from traditional gifts, with some suggesting that even a teddy bear could carry a book for a romantic partner this year.

Nawras Ali, a university student, shared with 964media, “I found many titles that could help partners understand each other better. It’s important for couples to dedicate enough time for reading because people’s behaviors vary, and they should know how to deal with daily life experiences. I chose to gift a book about love to my partner, and it’s wonderful that this day coincides with the Najaf Book Fair.”

Saleh Al-Khafaji, from Al-Mashhad Bookstore, highlighted, “The book fair features many important titles for successful marital relationships. I recommend those about to marry to read some of them, like ‘My Life Partner Please Understand Me’ by Osama Abu Salama and ‘The Health of Relationships’ by Osm Wasef. We also offer ‘The Art of Loving’ by Erich Fromm, ‘Psychology of Love’ by Qasim Hussein Saleh, and ‘Soufflé’ by Aslı E. Perker.'”
