Nineveh provincial council elects governor deputies
NINEVEH — In a session held on Saturday, the Nineveh Provincial Council elected Sirwan Rozhbayani from the Kurdistan Democratic Party as the First Deputy Governor of Nineveh. Omar al-Mawla of the National Identity Party was elected as the Second Deputy Governor. The votes followed consensus-building efforts among all political blocs after multiple boycotts over the last week.
