RT Bank offers official dollar exchange rate for Iraqi travelers

ERBIL, August 17 — RT Bank announced it would now offer US dollars at the official exchange rate of 1,320 Iraqi dinars for travelers who fill an application through the bank’s website.

A statement from RT Bank outlined the terms and conditions for the offer:

For Iraqi Travelers:

You can now obtain the US dollar at a rate of 1,320 Iraqi dinars per dollar by filling out the request form below.

This will be available Sunday to Thursday, from: 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM.

To ensure the acceptance of your request, please submit the request at least 48 hours before your scheduled trip and wait for the appointment to be confirmed.

Terms and conditions for purchasing US dollars are as follows:

Must be an Iraqi citizen.
Age: 18 years or older.
The maximum amount allowed is $3,000 US dollars per month.

Required documents:

Valid Iraqi passport

Travel visa

Copy of round-trip ticket
