Investment Board conference:
Over five billion dollars invested in Kurdistan in four years
Erbil, January 27– Investment in Kurdistan has exceeded $5 billion over the past four years, as declared by the Kurdistan Investment Board (KIB) during an investment conference, held in Erbil for the last two days with the participation of 450 private companies
Bargasht Akrayi, spokesperson for the board informed 964media that over the past four years, 57 projects received official licensing, contributing to the growth in the overall investment value, which now stands at $5.25 billion US Dollars.
Ali Ibrahim, an organiser of the conference, told 964media that companies from Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, and Duhok were present. He added that “a notable surge in investment projects within the industrial, tourism, and dam construction sectors are noticed.”
