Partly cloudy skies expected across Kurdistan Region Saturday

BAGHDAD —  The Iraq’s Meteorological Authority reported that Saturday’s weather will be partly cloudy, turning overcast at times in Kurdistan Region.

Temperatures are expected to remain similar to Friday, with slight drops in some areas. Conditions will be cold in the morning and at night, becoming relatively mild during the day.

Winds will be northwesterly, light to moderate at speeds between 10 to 20 km/h. By evening and night, winds are expected to become mostly calm, shifting to a southeasterly direction in western parts of the country.

Horizontal visibility will generally range between 8 to 10 kilometers but may drop to 4 to 6 kilometers at night due to fog formation and increased pollutant levels.
