Flights and booking terms for Iraqi fans during AFC Asian Cup

BAGHDAD, January 13 — The airline management announced today, Saturday, direct flights between Baghdad and Doha to support the Iraqi national team participating in the AFC Asian Cup held in Qatar. They also specified the booking dates and outlined 4 conditions for travelers.

In accordance with the directives of the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani, and under the direct supervision of the Minister of Transport, Mr. Razzaq Muheibes Al-Saadawi, the General Company for Iraqi Airways would like to draw the attention of the Iraqi sports fans to the allocation of direct flights at competitive prices between Baghdad and Doha to support our national Iraqi football team during its participation in the AFC Asian Cup held in Qatar. The flight schedule for the tournament’s group stage is as follows: January 15, 18, 19, 20, 24, and 25, 2024.

To provide the best services and facilities to our valued travelers and ensure the smooth flow of ticketing, adherence to the following conditions is mandatory:

1. A valid passport with a validity period of not less than 6 months.
2. Ticket purchase (round trip) from the company’s offices within Iraq.
3. Travelers must possess a valid Haya card or an entry permit for Qatari territories, along with a hotel reservation.
4. Travelers are required to provide a mobile phone number for communication through various electronic browsing applications (WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram, etc.).
