Ministry of education signs international quality standards document

BAGHDAD, January 10 — The Ministry of Education announced today, Wednesday, the signing of the first document for international quality standards for the kindergarten stage, in collaboration with UNICEF and the German Development Bank, during an official ceremony in the Ahmed bin Fadlan Hall.

The signing of the first document for international quality standards for the kindergarten stage in collaboration with UNICEF and the German Development Bank was announced during an official ceremony held in Ahmed bin Fadlan Hall. The event was attended by parliamentary representatives, including Dr. Dunia Al-Shammari, the head of the Women, Family, and Childhood Committee, representatives of donor countries, and the ministry’s deputy for scientific affairs, Shaker Naimah Abdoon, and technical deputy Hussein Sabri Al-Lami, along with a selection of general directors from the ministry.

The document includes several key aspects that aim to enhance the kindergarten curriculum in the future by opening up development opportunities for five fundamental pillars: the supervisor, director, teacher, and educational environment. UNICEF’s representative highlighted the document’s essential provisions and its role in promoting children’s rights and elevating a crucial segment of society that nations should embrace.
