Iraq’s Central Bank Reports Over $212 Million in Daily Foreign Currency Sales

BAGHDAD, January 10 – The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Wednesday that its foreign currency sales have surpassed $212 million in daily transactions, based on the official exchange rate of 1,310 dinars per US dollar.

According to the bank’s data, the total cash withdrawals stood at $24,330,000. Additionally, the total transfers abroad, which include remittances and credits, amounted to $188,602,948. This brings the overall total sales for the day to $212,932,948.
