Central Bank of Iraq announces foreign currency sales

BAGHDAD, January 3 — The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced its foreign currency sales on Wednesday totaled over $205 million in one-day transactions, at the official exchange rate of 1,310 dinars per dollar.

Bank data revealed that total cash withdrawals amounted to $16,592,020, while total transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $188,706,228. Overall total sales amounted to $205,298,248.
