Iraqi national team heads to Dubai for Asian Cup preparation

BAGHDAD, January 3 — The Iraqi national team departed from the capital Baghdad on Tuesday, heading to Dubai, UAE, to embark on a training camp in preparation for the upcoming Asian Cup.

According to a statement from the Union’s media:

“On board the national carrier, the Lions of Mesopotamia (Osood Al-Rafidain) are heading to Dubai to begin a training camp in preparation for their participation in the AFC Asian Cup, which will take place in the Qatari city of Doha.”
