Internet cuts expected in Kurdistan during 12th-grade exams

ERBIL, August 5 — Internet service will be suspended for three hours daily during the next seven days in the Kurdistan region due to the start of the second round of exams for 12th-grade students.

The 12th-grade exams in the Kurdistan region will begin tomorrow, Sunday, and continue until August 14. Internet service will be interrupted in all cities of the region during the exam hours (7:30 to 10:30 AM).

Brojeen Ali, Marketing Manager of IQ Internet Services, stated: “The Ministry of Transport and Communications in the Kurdistan Regional Government informed us about the internet service suspension at the times specified by the ministry, possibly between 7:30 and 10:30 AM.”
