Egyptian singer Ehab Tawfik performs in Iraq after 20 years

ERBIL, August 3 – Egyptian artist Ehab Tawfik is set to hold his  first music concert in Iraq on Thursday, his first in the country since 2001.

The performance will take place at Erbil’s Royal Cloud Hall and according to organizers, tickets are being sold at discounted prices.

Tawfik’s last performance in Iraq was at Al-Shaab International Stadium in Baghdad in 2001.

Concert organizers told 964: “The famous Egyptian artist, Ehab Tawfik, will be returning to Iraq through our hall after an absence of more than 20 years, and after the initial announcement of his concert tomorrow, many customers have already purchased tickets.”

“Ehab Tawfik will perform tomorrow, Thursday, between 2:00 AM and 3:00 AM, alongside a selection of other Iraqi and Arab artists.”

“The ticket price for the concert is $100, and the price for a table with dinner, appetizers, and drinks is 100,000 Iraqi dinars. The concert will start at 12:00 AM and continue until 6:00 AM.”

“We look forward to inviting a larger number of Arab and Iraqi artists, and we hope to showcase the true face of Iraq, which loves art and artists, through our diverse and musical concerts.”
