Interior Minister Al-Shammari oversees Baghdad’s elections security

BAGHDAD, December 16 — Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari inspects security forces deployed to secure polling stations in the capital Baghdad on Saturday, to oversee the progress of the provincial council elections.

According to a statement from the Interior Ministry received by 964media:

“The Minister of Interior, Mr. Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, conducts on-the-ground inspections of the democratic process in the provincial council elections. He examines the security forces deployed to secure polling stations in the capital, Baghdad.”
