Sudani meets head of New Generation in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, August 1 – Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani met with New Generation Movement head Shaswar Abdulwahid in Baghdad on Monday to discuss issues related to the current government’s agenda, improving quality of life across the country, and parliamentary elections in the Kurdistan region.

A statement from the Prime Minister’s office said:

“Today, Monday, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received the head of the New Generation Movement, Shaswar Abdulwahid. During the meeting, they discussed the most important issues on the national scene, and the progress made in implementing the government’s program following the approval of the budget for the next three years by the Council of Representatives.

They also reviewed the best ways to improve the living and service conditions for citizens throughout Iraq, and the efforts made to conduct the parliamentary elections in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, ensuring their success.”
