Turkish warplanes conduct airstrikes in Bamerne

DUHOK, December 5 — Turkish warplanes conducted airstrikes on two separate locations in Duhok’s Amedi district on Tuesday, with subsequent strikes reported near Gara Mountain and Sarsang district, according to a local security source.

Warplanes targeted the center of Bamarne district in the early hours, Colonel Dara Jamal, Director of Civil Defense in Amedi, confirmed to 964. Strikes had begun late the previous day.

One person from Bamarne was admitted at Duhok Emergency Hospital with injuries. The person reportedly sustained injuries while working in a village near the center of Bamerne district when the incident occurred.
