Female graduates launch farming business in Zakho
ZAKHO, July 30 — Fifteen female graduates from agricultural colleges and institutes in the district of Batifa have launched their own project to produce eggplants, peppers, and cucumbers with the aim of earning a living. The Director of Agriculture in Zakho stated that they will provide “moral support” to the graduates.

“The graduates have inaugurated their project, which consists of six plastic greenhouses for the production of eggplants, peppers, and cucumbers.”
“We will support them morally, and in the first step, we visited them and offered some agricultural supplies as gifts.”
“This step is very encouraging, and we hope that all young people will aspire to become entrepreneurs, helping themselves and their families.”
