Iranian women in Baghdad showcase culinary skills in traditional cooking competition
BAGHDAD, November 19 — A large group of Iranian women residing in the capital, Baghdad, participated in a traditional cooking competition organized by the Cultural Consulate at the Iranian Embassy on Saturday.
Maram Diaa, Cultural Consulate at the Embassy, told Network 964:
“The competition focuses on Iranian cuisine, specifically traditional dishes. It highlighted five main courses and three types of desserts.
One hundred women competed in the event, with 30 winners set to receive prizes from the embassy and the cultural consulate. The prizes include kitchen utensils and appliances.
The judging panel consists of skilled Iranian chefs specializing in traditional cuisine, some residing in Iraq, while others traveled from Iran specifically to participate in this competition.”
