Weather report
Sunny skies and stable temperatures expected Thursday with possible dust
BAGHDAD — Iraq will see sunny skies and stable temperatures Thursday under the influence of a surface thermal low-pressure system, the Meteorological Authority said, with scattered clouds possible over northern areas in the evening and night.
Temperatures will remain close to Wednesday’s levels across all regions, with hot daytime conditions and more moderate temperatures at night. Northwesterly winds will range between 10 and 20 km/h, picking up to around 40 km/h during the day in western parts of the central region and causing light dust in desert areas. Visibility will range between eight and 10 kilometers, dropping to five to seven kilometers in dusty areas due to increased air pollutant concentrations.
