Rain continues Tuesday in north and south before clearing mid-week
BAGHDAD — Rain will persist across parts of Iraq on Tuesday before conditions improve mid-week, the General Authority for Meteorology said Monday, with temperatures rising gradually through the end of the week.
Tuesday will be partly to fully cloudy, with light rain in the north and heavy rain in the south and eastern parts of central Iraq. Maximum temperatures will range from 18°C in Sulaymaniyah to 32°C in Muthanna. Wednesday will be clear with some clouds in central and southern regions, with light to moderate rain continuing in the north before improving at night, and temperatures dipping slightly in central and southern areas. Thursday will be generally clear with some clouds and a slight temperature rise nationwide. Friday will remain clear with some clouds and continued warming across all governorates.
