Iraq to see hot, clear conditions Saturday, forecasters say

BAGHDAD — Iraq’s cities will see clear, hot weather during the day and mild conditions at night on Saturday, with temperatures expected to remain close to Friday’s levels, the Iraqi Meteorological Authority said.

Northwesterly winds will blow at light to moderate speeds of 10–20 km/h, with stronger gusts in southern areas likely to stir light dust in desert regions. Western and northern governorates are forecast to remain calm.

Visibility is expected to range from 8–10 kilometers, dropping to 5–7 kilometers in dusty areas, according to the report.
