Temperatures remain in 40s with dust and wind activity
BAGHDAD — Iraq’s Meteorological Authority reported on Sunday that weather conditions across the country remain hot to very hot during the day and mild at night, influenced by the ongoing seasonal low-pressure system.
The authority’s report stated that temperatures are similar to those recorded on Saturday.
Winds are expected to be northwesterly, light to moderate at 20 to 30 km/h, with temporary activity in central and southern areas causing light dust. Northern regions will experience periods of calm and shifting wind directions, according to the report.
