Hot conditions continue with small drop in temperatures
BAGHDAD — Iraq’s Meteorological Authority reported on Tuesday that the country is experiencing hot to very hot summer weather across all regions, with generally clear skies.
The report said temperatures are recording a slight decrease compared to Monday in central and southern areas.
Winds are northwesterly, ranging between 20–30 km/h, and will strengthen during the day in central and southern regions, causing dust and sand to rise in desert areas.
As for horizontal visibility, the authority noted it ranges between 8–10 km in most regions, dropping to 3–5 km in dusty areas during the day.
