Iraqi central bank announces sales of foreign currency exceeding $198 million

BAGHDAD, October 29 — The Iraqi Central Bank announced on Sunday its sales of hard currency, which amounted to over $198 million in today’s transactions.

The bank’s data revealed that the total cash withdrawals amounted to $24,280,000, while the total transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $174,079,390. The overall sales amounted to $198,359,390 million.
