Drug dealers arrested with kilogram of crystal meth

BAGHDAD, October 24 — Drug control authorities said police arrested two suspects with a kilogram of crystal meth during an active deal in the Jisr Diyala area of Baghdad.

The Drug Control Directorate released a statement, which said:

As part of a series of specialized security duties carried out by the General Directorate of Drug Control, two drug dealers were arrested in the act, with one kilogram of the controlled substance ‘crystal’ in the Jisr Diyala area.

All necessary legal procedures were taken against them, and they were placed in detention under a judicial decision.
