Counter-terror forces arrest four suspects across Iraq
BAGHDAD, October 21 — The Iraqi Security Media Cell announced on Saturday the arrest of four individuals wanted on terror-related charges in Kirkuk, Anbar, and Sulaymaniyah governorates.
A statement from cell, received by Network 964, read:
Counter-Terrorism forces have arrested four terrorists in various areas.
Based on the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Mohammed Shiaa’ Al-Sudani, and under the supervision of the head of the Counter-Terrorism Bureau, Lieutenant General Abdul Wahab Al-Saadi, the heroes of the Counter-Terrorism Bureau conducted a series of operations in various areas of the country.
Continuing the coordination and collaboration with the Asayish Directorate of Sulaymaniyah, three separate operations resulted in the arrest of three terrorists in Sulaymaniyah and Kirkuk governorates.
In operations conducted in Anbar governorate, one of the terrorists was arrested.
Counter-Terrorism Bureau operations continue to track and apprehend terrorists across every inch of our beloved land.
