Three injured in car incident in Kalar

KALAR — Three individuals sustained injuries Saturday afternoon when a Toyota Corolla collided with a Mitsubishi Lancer on Shaheed Kamal Bewyani Street in Kalar, Sulaymaniyah’s Garmian Administration, local authorities reported.

According to the Garmian Traffic Department, the incident occurred when the Toyota was traveling along the main road toward the Awarakan neighborhood, and the Lancer attempted a turn, resulting in a collision. Both drivers involved and a passenger in the Lancer were injured in the crash.

All injured parties were taken to Shaheed Hazhar Emergency Hospital for treatment. Due to the severity of the injuries sustained by the Lancer’s passenger, that individual was later transferred to a hospital in Sulaymaniyah for further care.
