Iraqi Central Bank announces foreign currency sales exceeding $195 million

BAGHDAD, October 8 — The Iraqi Central Bank announced on Sunday that it had conducted foreign currency sales totaling more than $195 million in today’s transactions.

According to the bank’s data, the total cash sales within the country amounted to $39,040,000 million, while the total transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $156,462,595 million. The overall sales amounted to $195,502,595 million.
