Five deaths in one week: Erbil hospital arises alarm over electrical hazards
ERBIL – Erbil’s Western Emergency Hospital has issued a warning on Sunday regarding an increase in electricity-related fatalities, urging citizens to exercise greater caution to prevent further accidents.
In a statement, the hospital emphasized the need for heightened public awareness about the dangers of improper electricity usage. “Regrettably, in the past seven days, five citizens have lost their lives due to incidents involving electricity,” the statement read.
The hospital reported that cases involving electricity-related injuries and fatalities are on the rise, with several victims being treated at the facility. It called for urgent measures and stricter safety precautions to address the issue.
