Turkish Energy Minister announces Ceyhan oil pipeline ready for operation
BAGHDAD, October 2 — Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar announced on Monday that the Ceyhan oil pipeline is ready to resume operations and scheduled for reactivation later this week.
Bayraktar made the announcement during the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC) 2023 in the Emirati captal.
The Minister emphasized that the pipeline will have sufficient capacity to transport nearly half a million barrels to global markets, highlighting Turkey’s role as a reliable route for oil and gas transportation between Turkey and Iraq.
