Iraq Central Bank reports over $262 million in foreign currency sales

BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Wednesday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $262 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 Iraq dinars per $1.

Total domestic cash withdrawals downs to $6,800,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $255,261,774, according to the bank’s data. The overall sales totaled $262,061,774.
