Iraq Central Bank reports over $249 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Tuesday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $249 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 Iraq dinars per $1.
Total domestic cash withdrawals downs to $6,650,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $242,659,521, according to the bank’s data. The overall sales totaled $249,309,521.
