Iraq Central Bank reports over $279 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Sunday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $279 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 Iraq dinars per $1.
Total domestic cash withdrawals downs to $21,750,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $257,640,704, according to the bank’s data. The overall sales totaled $279,390,704.
