Iraq, Iran discuss joint oil field investment
BAGHDAD — On the margins of the seventh summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum held in Algeria, Iraq’s Oil Minister, Hayan Abdul Ghani, met with his Iranian counterpart, Javad Owji. The discussions focused on the joint development of oil fields that the two nations share.
According to a statement provided to 964media by the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, the meeting aimed to explore cooperation avenues in the oil and gas sectors, including infrastructure projects and the joint investment of shared oil fields.
