Iraq Central Bank reports over $263 million in foreign currency sales

BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Monday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $263 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 Iraq dinars per $1.

Total domestic cash withdrawals downs to $12,250,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $250,776,598, according to the bank’s data. The overall sales totaled $263,026,598.
