Samara Pharmaceuticals locally produced 135 medicinal products in 2023

SALAH AL-DIN, January 21 – Samara Pharmaceuticals, a company under the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, announced today its production of 135 pharmaceutical products in 2023, highlighting their precision and compliance with international, American, and British pharmacopoeias.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Industry received by 964media, the General Company for Pharmaceutical and Medical Supplies in Samara, a subsidiary of the Ministry, produced 135 types of standard and new pharmaceuticals in various forms last year.

Dr. Abdul Rahman Abbas Ta’ma, the company’s managing director, reported the supply of these 135 pharmaceutical products to the Ministry of Health and the local market. The production, in line with predetermined plans, included tablets, ointments, syrups, antibiotics, powders, and dry suspensions for children. Dr. Ta’ma said that the company’s products meet high efficacy and precision standards, employing advanced packaging methods. These products, comparable to imported ones, are reasonably priced and significantly contribute to the local pharmaceutical market.
