PM Al-Sudani expresses readiness to facilitate the work of Saudi companies in Iraq

DAVOS, January 17 — In a meeting with the Saudi minister of commerce, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani affirmed on Wednesday that the government is prepared to provide all necessary facilitations for Saudi companies to operate in various sectors in Iraq.

Statement:

Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met the Saudi Minister of Commerce, Mr. Majid Al-Qasabi, and the Minister of Investment, Mr. Khalid Al-Falih, on on the sidelines of the Davos 54th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Switzerland.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and strategies to enhance and expand cooperation in the investment, economic, and trade sectors. There was a strong emphasis on sustaining successful partnerships for the private sector in both countries.

The Prime Minister expressed the government’s readiness to offer full support to Saudi companies operating in Iraq across various fields, aiming to achieve mutual benefits for both brotherly countries.
