Cultural festival in Muthanna supports children’s development through theater and art

MUTHANNA, December 28 — Muthanna’s Cultural House hosted a festival on Wednesday supporting childhood through theatrical and artistic performances, in a showcase of folkloric costumes, as well as singing and drawing

Safaa Raouf, Director of the School Activity Department, shared details about the festival, which also included theatrical performances, fashion shows, freehand drawing, as well as oratory, poetry, and school chants.

“A special section was dedicated to kindergarten-aged children,” Raouf said, “providing them with colors and papers to express their feelings under the guidance of a professional artist.”

Eight kindergarten students participated in the festival, showcasing a theatrical play and presenting Arab and heritage fashion.
