PM Sudani orders reduced airfare to Qatar

BAGHDAD, December 26 — Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani directed, on Tuesday, to reduce Iraqi Airway fares for flights to Qatar to attend the Asian Cup, which will kick off next month.

A statement from Al-Sudani’s office, read:

“Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani directed the Ministry of Transport to operate discounted flights for Iraqis wishing to attend the Asian Cup, which will kick off next month in Qatar. This applies to those holding official cards approved by the tournament organizers. Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was instructed to communicate with the Qatari side to facilitate the issuance of entry visas for them.”
