Clear skies, rising temperatures expected across country

BAGHDAD — Iraq will continue to experience clear and sunny weather on Monday, with temperatures remaining high across the country, according to the Iraqi Meteorological Authority.

The agency said conditions would be clear in all regions, with some scattered clouds expected over parts of the southern region.

Temperatures in central and northern areas are expected to remain similar to those recorded on Sunday, while southern areas will see a slight decrease. Hot conditions are expected to persist during the day, with temperatures becoming more moderate at night.

Northwesterly winds in central and southern Iraq will range between 10 and 20 km/h, while winds in the northern areas will be variable in direction.

Visibility is expected to remain generally good, ranging between 8 and 10 kilometers.
