Partly cloudy Thursday with chance of evening rain in southern Iraq

BAGHDAD — Iraq will see partly cloudy skies Thursday with increasing cloud cover in some areas and a chance of light rain showers in western parts of the south during the evening and night, the General Authority for Meteorology said.

Temperatures will remain similar to Wednesday in central and southern regions, rising slightly in the north, with cool mornings turning warm through the day. Northwesterly winds will reach 20 to 30 km/h in central and southern areas, causing dust in eastern parts, while northern regions see light variable winds of 5 to 10 km/h. Visibility will range between eight and 10 kilometers, dropping to four to six in dusty conditions.
