Rain expected in Kurdistan Region as skies cloud over Iraq

BAGHDAD — Iraq will see partly to fully cloudy skies Sunday, with light to moderate rainfall forecast for the Kurdistan Region and snow expected over mountainous areas, the General Authority for Meteorology said.

Temperatures will rise slightly in central Iraq and marginally in the south, dipping in the north. Southeasterly winds will range between 10 and 20 km/h with periods of calm in southern areas. Visibility will be eight to 10 kilometers, dropping to five to seven during morning haze.
