Iraq FA to give free tickets to Iraqi fans for Arab Cup quarterfinal

NEWSROOM — The Iraq Football Association said tickets allocated to Iraqi fans for the national team’s Arab Cup quarterfinal against Jordan in Qatar will be distributed free of charge.

In a statement, the federation said the process is being coordinated with the organizing committee of the 2025 Arab Cup in Qatar and will follow official tournament guidelines.

Ticket distribution is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 11, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., or until all tickets are claimed. The Iraq FA said fans can collect tickets at the Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena, in the section designated for Iraqi supporters.

The federation said the tickets are strictly reserved for Iraqi fans and will not be handed out inside stadiums or outside the designated venue. Individuals must present Iraqi identification or proof of affiliation with the Iraqi fan base to receive tickets. Distribution will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

The statement stressed that selling or reselling tickets is strictly prohibited and that violators will face legal consequences.

“We welcome the fans of the Lions of Mesopotamia and wish them an honorable presence befitting our national team in this decisive match,” the statement said.
