Iraq’s Meteorological Authority forecasts clear skies, light dust
BAGHDAD — Iraq’s Meteorological Authority said on Sunday that weather conditions across the country will be mostly clear, with some cloud cover in the north leading to partly cloudy skies at intervals.
The authority reported that temperatures will remain close to those recorded on Saturday, with slight increases expected in some cities. It said nights and early mornings will be moderate, while mountain areas will remain cool.
Winds are expected to be variable and light, ranging between 5 and 10 kilometers per hour, occasionally stirring light dust in desert areas.
Visibility may drop to between 3 and 5 kilometers during the morning due to dust and pollutants but is forecast to improve during the day, according to the report.
